AXA XL Appoints Katherine Gerber as Head of Energy Transition for the Americas

AXA XL, the property and casualty (P&C) and specialty risk division of insurance group AXA, has announced the appointment of Katherine Gerber as Head of Energy Transition in the Americas. In this newly created role, Gerber will oversee energy underwriting strategies and lead the development of products and services to support clients’ energy transition and sustainability objectives while managing associated risks.

Gerber brings extensive experience to AXA XL, having spent seven years at Liberty Mutual Insurance. Most recently, she served as Global Strategy and Performance Lead for Energy Transition Risk, where she held various roles focusing on strategy and underwriting operations.
