The Saudi Shura Council approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Saudi Ministry of Energy and the Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy to strengthen cooperation in electricity, renewable energy and clean hydrogen.
The MoU was okayed during the council’s 22nd regular session held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of its Deputy Speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al Salmi, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The council also approved an MoU with Indonesia to boost cooperation in the energy sector, as well as another MoU with the UK to enhance cooperation in the development of financial services.
