Rensource Energy Signs 1.4 MW New Renewable Energy Projects in Nigeria

Rensource Energy, one of the fastest growing off-grid renewable energy providers in Nigeria, has announced the signing of several projects of a total 1.4 MW capacity in the country. The future projects will bring Rensource’s project portfolio to 14.6 MW under development along with 70 MW in the pipeline.

Rensource plans to start the construction of the new projects in this year as early as possible. The projects range in size from 300 kWp to 700 kWp, and will include battery energy storage systems. These reflect a strong demand for sustainable and affordable power in Nigeria going into this year.

The Nigerian renewable energy firm has adequate experience in developing and financing solar-hybrid captive power projects for C&I and utility customers. Its ability to deliver innovative services tailored to customer requirements is reflected in the diversity of clients these upcoming projects will serve.

According to Prince Ojeabulu, CEO of Rensource Energy, the year 2023 is crucial for the company to expand its services across the region. The Rensource team is thrilled to start the year with 1.4 MW worth of new projects signed. The company will work with its industry-leading construction partners to deliver these renewable energy projects in record time.

With the rise in fuel costs and the slow expansion of electricity access in Nigeria, the C&I sector will continue to look for affordable state-of-the-art power solutions to meet their needs. Rensource’s clean energy solutions are making the company a superior choice for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises looking to reduce their energy costs.
