The European Commission has opened a four-week consultation on changes to the European Green Taxonomy. Proposals under consideration are:

New measures to meet climate objectives;
New actions on the remaining four goals;
Article 8 of the Taxonomy in payments for new environmental goals;
New tools: Navigator, Calculator, FAQ.

The changes will be adopted in June this year and will take effect from 1 January 2024.
