Sustainability topics on the watch by media

As part of its 2023 Trend Report, the MSCI Research Center published some interesting statistics on which sustainability topics received the most frequent mention/coverage in the media. The evaluation was carried out from September 2019 to December 2022. The statistics are broken down into three economic and geographic focus areas: the US, Europe, and China.

• In the first place in terms of mention are the problems of human capital (most often related to working conditions),

• In second place are climate issues,

• On the third – the so-called natural capital (everything related to the topic of natural resources – water, air, land).
